Who is responsible
This site and the newsletter are run by Jovian Creative AS, organisation number 930 966 495, Glimmerveien 18, 1487 Hakadal, Norway, which publishes Margot Albury’s books. It is the controller of any personal data described here.
Visiting the site
The site sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device and runs no tracking or advertising scripts, so there is nothing to agree to. Like every web server, the host keeps short-lived technical logs (such as the address a request came from) to keep the site running and safe. They aren’t used to identify you.
The newsletter
If you sign up, your email address is kept so the newsletter can be sent to you, and for no other purpose. You’ll be asked to confirm it before anything is sent. You can leave with the link at the foot of every letter, and your address is then deleted.
Your rights
You can ask to see what’s kept about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted. If you think your data has been mishandled, you can complain to Datatilsynet, the Norwegian Data Protection Authority.
